Yeah today great except for my truck acting up. I have been wondering about why its been so hard to control lately and I could not explain about the crashes its been taking lately until I noticed my steering servo today. After a while of being on it seems to go haywire on me twitching, locking one way and causing me to crash. If I would have caught that sooner I would not have wiped out while trying to make those passes with the radar gun. Thanks to Gabe about helping with a buckle end, I wont forget that and I hope no one was hurt when the truck did its tumbles. I cant wait to hit it again and maybe get the radar gun out there again. Overall it was cool and I met some of you that I have not seen before.

yeah it was a lot of fun. Radar gun runs were cool. the landmax is back to its old XTM 247 days speed and power now that I've ported that OPS .21.
speaking of servos.. after I left berwyn I went to my Fav' parking lot near my house and raced the landmax around... (good god that thing is seriously fast now!) after almost a half gallon I lost steering in one direction. Yup.. my 3 year old Hitec 5925 digital servo is shot. So I decide to run the JT supermaxx and the brakes were barley there and the throttle brake was very slow reacting. Yup.. the 3 month old 645 is dead! I'm deffinetely dumping off the hitech's after I send them all in to get new ones. strange though I've never had problems with any hitechs until all the sudden they are going bad on me at the same time. I'm going JR , Air, or Futaba on everything eventually.. for now I'm going to run the JR's that I have to replace the bad servos and buy new stuff when I get the cash.

I had alot of fun today. Thanks for giving me a ride out there TRC, I appreciate that. The food was good. It was nice getting the clocked speeds with the Trucks/cars, although if you weren't carefull the gun will give you a bogus reading. The only bad part was you thought you had a 50mph and find out you only have a 40mph RC.

I had lots of fun as well. It was nice meeting more people of the board. I wish I could have ran the savage, but I discovered a hole in my gas tank that stopped me. I did get to run the RS4 though. Got it clocked at 40mph.

i went up a tooth on the cb of the buggy. be interesting to see how much of a change it makes next time. maybe it will do better than 53mph

that may have been one of those ILL readings (53mph). If the touring cars were only doing around 40mph, I dougt the buggy was doing 53mph. It was a FAST buggy though with that Picco.26 in there. Seemed to have nice Higher RPM's too, I thought I saw that those top out pretty low on the RPM range

I did a couple passes and his buggy was consistantly 52-53 MPH.
It even LOOKED fast. (Especially when it's comin' at ya!!!)

That actually wasn't my sig. I just put the hyphens in there
to seperate it from my previous thought.
I thought of something to add to it, though:

Seeing the look on New Guy Jr's face when I did it - HILARIOUS!

Too funny.... I'm always telling him to focus on offroads with the way he likes to drive, and watching you go off the ramp drove him nuts....

It was great to have everyone there. The Radar gun was a great idea, to bad my TC3 was'nt shifting. It stayed in first gear and only went 31mph, even turned the screws out 2 turns on the clutch and it still did'nt shift. Hopfully the radar gun can be brought back next time and I can get an accurate reading.
