I believe they have their own size...but even though buggy size wheels/tires are a little bit bigger, they fit also. They help give the car some more top end too!
Im running used switch 2.0's I bought off of Mike Big Grin

Yeah, they make foams for them too. Any Buggy size rim will fit, which makes tire choice pretty open also. Some Buggy tires are a little on the taller side, but that helps with top speed a little. Just have to trim the body a little to clear them.

Medial Pro makes a nice on-road style tire / wheel set for those...a bit shorter than std. buggy tires but same 17mm hex.

it's raining... Sad

Are you guys still planning on going out there.. please let me know. Don't want to make the hour drive out there if nobody is going to be there. Or worse yet.. not get a chance to race.

I wont be there till at least 4pm, maybe closer to 5pm if I dont get out of work early.
If its still raining by then, Im not going to make the drive either. Sad

There is a small retention pond right in front of the gass station, I am assuming the tanks are right under the pond. With all the flooding, I guess the water worked it's way into the fuel tanks. All 3 cars that died only made it 20-30 feet from the pumps before the engines died.

Dominicks said that if it comes back to Bad Fuel, they will cover the cost of repairs.

That sucks.

They should cover more than just the repairs.

Would it be classified as "Bad Fuel" though? I mean, it wasn't bad....Just wet :p:

bummer! My guess is that dominicks probably waters down their gas, and just added a little to much.. a few cars die, they know to dial it back.

Missed you guys.. it was only me and Eric (Nice meeting ya!) then Eric left, and it was me. The whole track to myself! That was nice. The 1/7th was a blast! It looks like it's going slow because it's so big. I really only had issues with one turn, and that skinny pit-lane. ;0

The car is shifting a little late, or my low-end is a little off, but was still great fun.

Bernnie was talking about the spec class.. I told him to forget those Kyosho's and go 1/7th, or 1/5th! Wink

He did mention that if he does the spec class, it's going to be stock motors. Which is 100% reasonable, but how many people are going to be ok with that?

Brian

PS: the offroad track looked amazing! I so want to try it out!
