Comcast Sucks!!!!

Anyone else having problems with comcasts tv service??? It seems like every 5 mins. or so the pic will sorta freeze and the sound will mute for 3 to 5 seconds ... Its been doing it for weeks...


My satalite never did this! Aggggh!!!!!

Yeah, mine does it everyonce in a while in my room, but I've only seen it once in the living room. Do you have digital cable?

Mine has been doing that for like 2 months. Its really annoying. I have the TV behind me on all the time, and when I'm on the PC, it'll never happen, but as soon as I go to watch TV, it happens every 6 to 10 minutes.

when I had comcast it did that once in a while, but now we have dish and it sucks ass, everytime theres a storm, big or small it goes out......so annoying

Only channels I watch are:
Fox (12)
Spike (28)
Discovery (48)
Speed (72)
History (76)

and it happens on all of them.

I would watch SciFi, but of course comcast took that channel away as soon as they put ECW on it... bastards.

Were you guys wired up before comcast was around? There might be filters outside the house that were used by past cable companies. Comcast doesn't use filters because it messes with the signal for their boxes.

the house is only like 3 years old...

We have high speed and their phone service and those are flawless

My house is old, but like Rocco, the internet service (which was wired up before comcast for me as well) works fine.

Unplug the box and connect the wire straight to the tv and see what happens.

Could be a bum cable box.

I don't know, it seems like for me its just the high channels, like in the 500's.

I dont have digital. I have the newer tiny lil black box though.

If it's there box, then it's digital. Digital does not = HD, easy to get confused.

I had the same issues a while back, and it turned out being the stupid filters outside leftover by the last cable company (att). Lower chanels work, internet worked, high channels were very choppy.
