As far as powerplants go the Axial .28 in there is a spec 1, which might wipe some smiles off poeples faces when they see what it does. For a RTR engine its very impressive.
Of the reviews I've read they've had some good stuff to say about it and bad. For someone starting out it wouldn't be a bad buy I don't think. Good power, the plastic parts are actually fairly tough from what I've seen of it.
And from my friends experience withe Kyosho sport truggy I'd say this would win hands down.
It'll get someone started and when they come across a roller they like they can just drop the engine in it cause the Axials do good.
