On a Buggy axle, the pin that holds the 17mm hex, gets held in place by a setscrew that goes into the center of the axle. On buggies, that setscrew is small. The losi kit comes with a long setscrew that extends out of the axle, far enough to use a regular locknut to hold the wheel on. Exactly like Ponch said.
The GS ones that Rocco linked work the same way, but will also widen your wheelbase. Not to mention, are discontinued and may be harder to find. The Losi ones keep the normal wheelbase.
