I am somewhat shocked that this kind of thing doesnt happen more often. I mean with the smokers pit room right there so close to the door with very few people around. The same could be said for the normal pit area. Get a day where there are lots of people. Things could go missing easy.
I try to keep my phones and camera hidden in my pit bag. No reason why people should be going in there so I would think that would raise an alarm for someone pitting near me. But I see people there with laptops in the smokers room and they just leave it sitting there with no one else in the room. That takes guts. Maybe they are more trusting then I am.
