more power is distributed to both the wheels, it basically gives the tires that are slipping more power than the ones that arent if that makes sense. The thicker u go the more AWD effect you will get, u want to go as heavy as u can before it starts breaking traction in the rear upon acceleration but not too light as the front wheels will diff out on the straight.
