Its not just the drivers that are nuts. The people that go out there are nuts too! There are some time trials where people are standing not more then 3 feet away when the car comes flyin past them at 90mph sideways.

I do have to say that I dont think I could ever go and watch a event. Seeing a car pass by for 3 sec then waiting another 5 minutes or so for the next one. Somewhat boring if you ask me.
