Yep, I do remember that lesson from earlier discussions, it's just that I SUCK at doing ANY fine shadowing right now.
There's like one good one on the whole car (under one of the side purple scallops), the rest are pathetic.
I used superthinned fastint for all of it. I should have gone dark green on the side shadows, but I was being lazy. I really need to work on width and shape of the shadow lines, too. But practice time is hard to come by, but I need it.
After looking at this design after it was done, I really decided that it looked better on paper than on the body. The elements are too disconnected, almost like the hood "bird" on a TransAm. It doesn't flow. I need to work on that, but I hate to keep drawing stuff that looks like anybody else's work. I'm struggling to find "my style". Back to the sketch pad!
