looking to get my first personal car. was looking around to see what other people got as their first car, or what they think i should get or what they have to offer for me.

Parents Rules about the Car
No Camaros/Firebirds/Mustangs (might as well kill me now)
Preferrably 4 doors, but 2 doors are ok
Prefer something with a 4 cyl or V6 (again... take away V8's and kill me)
2 Airbags.

My Rules
Moddable
Doesnt look like a TOTAL POS (willing to work with rusted body panels and body work, as long as it aint totally ruined i can deal with what i'm given)
Preferrably under 2 grand. (lower the better)

Anyone with anything in those categories or that knows someone that has something in those categories, or has a recommendation of a vehicle. let me know...

Thoughts, VW Jetta/Golf/GTI, Mazda Miata, Honda Civic (eh..), Pontiac GTP, Volvo (just about anything...)

E-clips can travel at hundred of miles an hour and increase speed as they bouce off objects...if only mankind could harness this incredible power source.
