New Family Vehicle Suggestions

I'm looking for a new ride myself. I'm sick and tired of dropping $60 into my tank and lucky if I can go 300 miles on it. Too much damn money, especially since work is 60 miles round trip. I carpool, and still manage to average 18Kmiles a year.
I'm going to go test drive a mazdaspeed 3 tonight... |
