I lived in Anchorage for 8 years and in south Alaska there is 2-3 months of "summer" which is about 60-70F. In Fairbanks it gets to 80-85F which is closer to central Alaska (yes it gets hotter in central AK).
Out at sea it's much colder even in the summer months. Probably around 40-50F or so max. With water splashing all over you 50F is cold.
