in the pic you in the artic? (im assuming because of the landscape)
thats cool stuff, i always loved submarines for some reason, i love going tot he museum of science and industry to see the sub there, u-571...i think thats the # of the ship.
the only thing i have been on is an aircraft carrier, i dont remember what one it was but my brother was inthe marines and we went to san diego to see his graduation and since he was the top of his class they took us on a tour of both the marines and naval base (i believe the naval base is now closed) and got to go on an aircraft carrier, never did see everything that ship is too huge to see all at once.
i actually started to read up onsubs after the kursk went down, i was intrigued by the technology that they said russia had inthat sub, but some how couldnt get the sailors out only 200 or so feet from the surface, and they wouldnt let anyone help them, even thou we had the equipment that they needed to save the soldiers.
what kind of sub were you on in the pic? the pics depth perseption is a little hard to figure but it looks to be a sturgeon class sub (im basing this on the time period of the cold war and the sub looks a little smaller then a sea wolf or los angeles calss sub, but i could be wrong because it is hard to tell how far away you really are fromt eh sub in the pic)
