look closer dude... the fairwater planes are in the 90 degree up mode for under ice ops... it was a 637 (Sturgeon) class.. I did do a tour on the 688 class boats also, and ran a patrol cycle on one of the Trident boats (just a patrol)

i was looking for a pic of the soviet grave yard of subs and found an artical on the alfa class subs and they say they do 43knt, thats freakin fast for a sub
