SLOW REVO Wrote:Under 1k,
If you are interested, I have a proboat shockwave 55, With one tank of gas ran thru it. $800.00
Or i have a brand new one in the box $950.00
Not if you're talking about a custom built race boat.
Hull/Cowl/Radio Box: $375
Full Mod Motor: $595
Tuned Pipe/Header: $165
Hardware: $100 - $200
Radio Gear: $150 - $300 (2 digital servos, receiver, battery pack, switch)
Miscellaneous Building supplies: $100+ (gas and water lines, fittings, fasteners, collet, motor mount, pipe retainer, fuel bag, fuel filter, stuffing tube, epoxy, push rods, connectors, push rod seals, floatation, etc)
Someone to build it: ????? (usually another $200 or more depending on complexity or detail required)
That's about $1900+ and we haven't even gotten to the paint job yet.
I've built a few myself so my wallet knows how much it really costs.
And for all of this you get a boat that should be good for 55-70 mph.
But that's only if it were set up correctly.
