Hey Bandit.....don't worry about upsetting anyone because you are new when you go to race. Generally there's two or three qualifying races before a main race and most all tracks do what they call re-sort for each of the qualifiers. Essentially what that does is places the same skill level drivers in the same heats or races.
Good racers will pay attention to you and see your skill level. It's up to them to keep away from you. you just have fun. That's what this sport/hobby is about.
A few things that will keep you from causing any probs...easy stuff to remember:
Don't use reverse during a race if you have it.
If you get stuck on a straightaway or near the straightaway just yell "STRAIGHTAWAY"...that heads up tells other drivers to look out for you. do this during practice and races.
Never turn your radio on if you don't have a frequency clip during practice..never ever...and during a race NEVER turn it on unless you are racing.
