You want a Daily Driver, get a Honda Accord, Nissan Maxima, Toyota something. You want to go drag racing go buy a Camaro or a Mustang or something, The 2 don't mix. Think about reliabilty.
Wow! you have a lot to learn... I have a Vig 3600 stall, FLT level 4 tranny, 3.73 gear, lid, tune (HP Tuners), and catback on my 01 LS1 Camaro with a few weight mods and suspension mods. a few weeks ago I ran a 12.52@107 with a 1.63 60' on Bias Ply ET streets. I drive it every day to work in the rain, snow everything 40 miles day. Hell I even drove the car on the Last power tour, have taken it to Florida twice driven in deep snow on snow tires and through insane rain and hurricane squals, and 110 deg heat in AZ! Its never skiped a beat. I still get 25mpg highway and around 15 in city too. A good stall and mods with a real tune is no problem on the street and most all A4 Ls1's on the street with a stall have minimum 3200 all the way to 4400rpm stalls with no problem.
Back to the topic though Meatwad. seriously I'd get a fox body Stang if you like to mod and tinker. they are easy to work on and fun cars and parts galore are all over the place. Keep it milder and drive it. Take it easy on the street and keep your nose out of trouble though. Now days murder and rape seem to be less serious charges than street racing.
