to check if ur fuel take is leaking....take it off, fill your sink with water, and submerge fuel tak under the water while blowing into one line and pinching the other...if you see air bubbles coming out of the tank anywherer...u gotta leak
as far as the motor possibly having a leak...
it is not always neccesary to seal motor but i always seal a new motor since it is easy to do....do a search on sealing motors...im almost positive that i saw a sticky thread on that...if you still have problems, gimme a call and ill help you out

obviously not the same exact engine but i should be able to adapt that... I guess those picco motors were prone to leaking out the front bearing as well, there was a recall for it so that might be screwing me up as well. I'll have to check that stuff out when i get the truck back from my buddy that is taking it to al's.
I did hear that there is about a 2 week wait on repairs at al's, it is about the same at my local hobbytown (crystal lake).. someone could make some good money fixing rc's on the side billing at or below the LHS rate...
