in the rear of a 99 ploder sport there is one leaf spring and 4 shims/plate! turning thr torsion bars down lowered it and also reduced the dampening effect of the torsion bar (spring), so it's kinda a bouncy ride! thats why i te upgraded the front shocks to a higher gas charge. worked beautifully. it came out to an 1 1/2 inch drop all around, now the truck handles a lot better and the ride isn't as stiff! now i just need to upgrade the shocks in the rear! it took about an hour and a half to do and that includes dropping the rear end! i do recomend an alignment afterwords if your thinking about doing this!
