We were looking at that damage after the event, it looks to me if we use a mix with less sand in the areas that are eroding we should be fine. I considered the sealer but it actually makes it too slick. I checked into the bedliner and the quotes I was given were in the $400-$500 range. Ive been thinking of the modular setup and have been putting a few things on cad, its funny that you suggested the rounded off steps because that was the first thing I drew up, I built something like it down at the "farm" and I love crawling it. I was also thinking of doing a modular "tank trap" or "hottub"... Zach and I have been talking about that since I started helping with the course and the little one we had at the comp was a trial to see how it worked. I think the long climbs might be somewhat limited by location, its hard to have a mountain in the middle of the store (even though we did joke about a 15' tall one sticking thru the ceiling). Dont expect any big changes for the next comp but, if it does well, and people start buying crawler parts, you will start seeing some good things.
Either Zach ( I just volunteered you )or I will take all of your ideas back to the owner so keep them coming, especially the parts suggestions. (no promises on what we can get him to keep in stock unless people request it and buy it)
Before I forget, when I was leaving Saturday, the owner said if I got people email address' we could set up a mailing list for events. What do you all think of that?
Full Axial Axles (part # AX30488)

Feel free to second my suggestions
