this is the fix http://www.rdracingproducts.com/store/pr...ucts_id=94. The main problem was that the connecting rod was moving around to much and scrapping on the engine block and making metal shavings. And the result of this was premature engine wear. this spacer prevents the the connecting rod from moving to much and thus saving the engine. So it doesnt matter if you were the worlds best engine tuner because this was still gonna happen to you.
