Don't follow the oil-life index%. Running that to zero is like 6-7000. I run Valvoline Synthetic and I can push it to about 6k miles and the oil is still amber. but when I first got the car I changed it every 1000 to flush it out. for about 3 changes using just regular oil then made the synthetic switch. Regular oil is fine I just like the piece of mind, of heat protection and longevity.
Corvettes are rather sexy cars...pretty much my favorite car ever. Even over exotic cars I'd take a corvette any day. Besides maybe a Lotus Exige. those are nice.
They can outhandle a military helicopter
