no, dry systems are used for exposure to cold climates. be it out side or in freezers. some places that have a lot invested in computers use whats called a pre-action system, where 2 things have to happen in order to set the valve off (smoke detector, "magic" wire, fusing a head, or they have a "huffer" system connected to it). huffers can "smell" a wire going bad and arm the valve.
dry systems are worse for corrosion. they have to be trip tested once a year then drained, but some water always stays in the pipe and that mixed with the air will rust it faster. anyways now im rambling.
ng, not all warehouses use esfr. he hit the under door pipe and cracked a thread, then tried to pull it back into place and ripped it all the way off.
