Sounds neat. I would like to see the slashes.
You might find the dirt a little bit surprising -- it is never "tacky". It is never really muddy either. It is not topsoil-like. It is loam-ish. It will drain quick and be runnable quick. If we had a 12-hour downpour and it quit raining for an hour, you could come out and race.
So, to recap, this would be the first meeting at the track. "You" might be the only person to show up??? There is no lap system in place yet. There IS electricity and track watering. The driver's stand is tiny, so personal step-ladders could be useful if lots of folks come. It's 'free', since it is NOT a business (dog-gone zoning) -- it is like I am inviting friends over to play some b-ball or have a barbeque. Oh, and electric only please. Your feedback will be appreciated and used to make the track better.
