Hey Dan...got it today. Completely torn down and cleaned. Your gonna need a few things.
Just need to know how far you want to go with rebuilding it.
So far here is a list of what you need...
- new clutch
- new clutch bell (teeth are pretty chewed up)
- new diff bearings F&R
- new bevel gears (still useable but very worn / minor chips)
- (2) knuckle bearings
Findings so far:
The pillow balls were binding and the steering assembly needs work. There was some kind of nylon string or something wrapped around the front axle behind the hex that smoked your bearing. Something in your center CVD's was really binding up. I'll have to figure that out during re-assembly. The way you shocks are set up, they severly limit your suspension travel. It's fine if you want it slammed for on road, but big jump bashing will probably bust your shock ends. I'd change those springs also, and go with a bit heavier oil. LMK how you plan to use it. That way I can set it up when I put it back together.
