Take an older 3300mah 6 cell matched pack. Take one of the six cell packs Leisure sells at the shop at the track. Do some laps laps with both. ACtually driving the Slash you won't notice any difference, especially in lap times between the two battery packs. The reason being is that the Slash's stock motor is essentially a cheap modfied motor and mod motors torque is not so much affected by the performance of a 3300mah older pack and a 3800 stick pack.
Hmmm....maybe another way:
If you had a Savage with it's stock .21 engine and you tried a tank of 20% versus a tank of 30% I highly doubt in a race that your lap times would be any different in a race.
