It's one thing to have emotions, but another to show complete loss of control. I know the players and coaches are all adults, but there is one HUGE reason that they should show control.
When kids watch the world series, and see managers throwing chairs, and Bagwell throwing his bat like a hatchet, all they see is that it is ok. There should be some type of punishment for unsportsmanlike conduct. Fines, game ejection, suspension, etc. Something to show that it is wrong. Other sports have rules about sportsmanship, what excludes baseball? Kids learn from what they see, why not show them that such outbursts are not right?
