It would work the same as a nitro engine.
Basically, most nitro engines under load have a RPM range from 0 to about 30,000rpm to 35,000rpm depending on gearing. Unloaded they'll spin to 40+ but after that your con-rod my snap.
.21-.3x sized Nitro engine idle around the 5,000rpm mark, some faster than that even. They really don't start developing power till 10,000rpm+
Versus an electric motor that has 100% of its power available as soon as the motor turns.
