i used to use the panther k2's in soft every where. good all around tire.
now i use advantage blockpass in soft and they come with the perfect molded foam.
im very pleased with them. even as the track changes fron damp to blue groove, they hang like champs.
i guees i have a diff opinion on the crimes. i have never got them to feel good for me. they were always drifting and washing out going straight and on the gas.
if it smooth and no dust, a small pin tread is good, like panther switch.
if its smooth but has dust and small holes, a worn med soft k2 works good. ( the pins wont fold over as easy if they are worn down. )
if its always loose like the elburn track then a new tire with some nice big pins are the deal. somthing to get thru the loose stuff and down to hard surface.
as far as foams. if the track is rough, use a soft feelin foam.
if its damp, a rounded tire and a firm foam, and spaced out pins, so the tire cleans out.
