Anyone that has had this pipe for the T-maxx can tell you from experience the headers commonly fail. I'm sure there may be a few select that have used this pipe without any problem.
Usually what happens is the cast aluminum header will crack on the pipe portion. Chassis flex, roll overs and bad wreck probably contribute to this failure. When this happens your day is done unless you have another header.
Very common problem with the RD Logics T-maxx pipes. I have never used this pipe but a guy racing with our club the Dirt Dawgs last season went through 3 of these headers at $30.00 each in 3 weeks.
For the stock TRX 2.5 go with the MIP combo or the MAX pipe that uses the stock header.
