when you are running your truck outside and it is about 38 degrees outside and when you are trying to get the temps up does your engine rev high when you go to let it idle. if so does anyone know why this is?
also could it be because the engine is under 175 degrees.
I was running my truck today trying to get my truck up to 225 and I hit 158 degrees and then my spur stripped. when I would make a high speed pass and then go to let it idle it would rev up high and then idle. my low speed is very rich so it cant be that it was too lean, and my idle was good not to high.
please help.
thanks, kevin
