Note: I use a dremel sanding drum to roughen the tire bead, and a dremel wire brush to dress the wheel bead area. But MT wheels (Non-Revo) are exposed and easier to get at than the buggy wheel, which are like Revo style.
And anyone who might be using chrome wheels, you need to remove the chrome from the wheel bead area where you glue it or the tire will not adhere.
