That brand new Revo body sure is pretty, I'll give you $10 for it right now. You know you're going to be swapping it out for a Crowd Pleaser, right?
Think about it!!!
And you will have a ton of brand new radio system and steering servo parts to sell also, right?
Aren't we crazy? We drop $400+ on something brand new and immediately start to take perfectly good parts off and modify it. Why doesn't Traxxas or HPI or somebody save us the trouble and build the Race vesion with the right radio gear, servos, etc? I'm sure it would sell.
Revo's very cool, indeed. The very first thing I did to ours was Dremel a notch in the side of the carry handle so you can actually get a screwdriver on the LSN to tune it.
Then I rerouted and guarded the wiring to the EZStart and glow plug blue wire. If you keep the stock body, add strips of heavy clear tape inside at all the places where it rubs, because the factory graphics wear through in no time.
The BEST thing I did (and it was free) was to extend the exhaust stinger with a length of tubing to get it down past the body. That stock one makes an oily mess of the rear of the truck.
Congrats on the new purchase!!
