We are not ok with it, at least the true Cubs fans, the bandwagoneers can go suck an egg...I'm not ok with the Cubs efforts as of late. I don't care about 2003 either. We let it slip through our fingers, it wasnt some yahoos fault that we lost that game.
Your right NewGuy a True fan does not need to be at the games to show support. You can do that with expensive Jerseys, LOL. I'm lucky if I make one Cubs game a year, and its usually cause I get a ticket for my birthday. But I watch the games, hell I watch the Sox and any other game I come across. I'm a fan of the game, which is why I cant understand how Cubs fans can be so uptight about the Sox winning the series. Sure its a rivalry but hell the Sox played some damn good ball. I know some Cubs fans who wouldnt watch the series or rooted for the Astros. Normally I would root for the NL team. But this is hometown baby, gotta root for the hometown. Plus the stro's fall just behind the Dolphins and Marlins on my all time Sh*t list. I hope Florida is swallowed up by a hurrricane.
