Two very well written pieces. Thank you for taking the time and putting in the work to host an event that clearly took a very large amount of your time, and that of countless others.
I only wish I could have "afforded" the time to participate in the Race for the Cure. The entry fees were completely fair and reasonable for what was given over the three days. I too was shocked by the less than full house turnout. Perhaps people didn't realize the value they would receive from this event.
I only hope that when the next Event is scheduled, I can clear my weekend to be part of it.
You deserve a large THANK YOU, not the hassles that you documented above. The next time I am at the track I will introduce myself and personally express my gratitiude.
