Keep in mind Dan, there are more Boas in the species than the Red-tail. A friend of mine had a Columbian rainbow boa, that was very easy to handle, and fairly active. Tree boas are really cool as well, but need a larger (taller) tank, with a branch to hang from. Check out the site I listed before, they have MANY different species of MANY different breeds. Also, the snakes are captive bred and born, by profesionals. The people there are very helpful in letting you know what to expect from different breeds as well.
