Yes....long story made short...I got some of the stuff they stole back, but couldnt prove the other stuff was mine...I got lucky with the buggy cuz its engraved on the chassis under the fuel tank on the top side with my name, and also under where the motor sits on the top side with my name and phone number. I edited my post cuz I didnt want people to think I got the buggy back and used the 300 they raised...the money I used to purchase the buggy came out of my own pocket book. I gave the 300 back to track to give to the people who donated. But yes, thats cool that a fellow RCer would do something like that. Especially since that was the first time I had ever been to the track down there at Grand Prairie Mall or what ever it is called in Peoria. Track is operated by Hobbytown USA, and those fockers wouldnt even offer me a discount for buying a replacement buggy from them, nor would they have anything to do with putting a flyer up about my missing RC...bunch of a-holes, and I will never do business or race there again.
*end of rant*
Now that I got a decent buggy, maybe I should take the almost 2 hour drive up north and visit LH again....havent been up there to run the outdoor track yet. If I did go be a sat. most likely, and not sure if I would stick around for the race or not...depends on turnout and if I can get the car dialed in good or not.
