I am looking tt build a rock crawler in the near future so I am looking to start picking up some parts. Here is what I am mainly after right now but you can still offer...
Clod Drivetrain
ESC with reverse and the ability to run 2 motors (possibly rear steer)
Wheels and Tires
Shocks... Probably E/T-maxx
Apx. 4 long suspension links
That should do it for now... I can always go from there. (It will probably be a stick type design)

round here its going to be tough to get any crawling parts. I say just pick up a new clod and sell off the hardbody and all other parts other than the axles. I did that for one of my crawlers when I had them and got almost $100 back.
For the links I made my own out of soild aluminum rod. I drilled and taped the ends and lock tighted a screw into there then cut the end off. Also there are places that will build any length rods you want. Check out RC4WD.com, RCguy.com chassis are wicked too. There is just soo much you cna do with a set of clod axles.

Allright... I'm going to pass on the maxx tires (not soft enough) but thank you. I'm going to agree with Camaro about the buy a new clod statement, (Heck I'll even have a MSC I can use untill I fix my crapped out super rooster). As for the shocks... I will probably only need 2 or 4...
