Identifying NTC3 VS NTC3+
#1
Is there a simple way to tell if you have the NTC3 VS the NTC3+? I know the NTC3+ has a .15 engine and the NTC3 has a .12 but can it be seen on the side of the engine? Also is it easy to tell if its a two speed or single speed pretty easy?

I'm just curious because I can't even remember hearing my car shift into second.

is there 2 gears on the clutch bell or one? it is not an internal trans. so how many gears you see is how many speeds you have.
and if your suspention has not been mod. look on the bottom rear arm, does it conect to the knucke with 2 pillow balls or one. if its one its a tc3 if its 2 its a tc3+

You might need to change the shifting on the gears. When I had mine I had to adjust it for it to go into second.

I'll have to read up on how to do that. I looked at the engine today, it's definitely a .15. I have a nice large carb I'd like to put on it but its not rotary and this car uses a rotary carb.
