Yeah, me too. Do you have any other tires for your savvy that I could use? My friend has my bow-ties right now and the stock 25 tires aren't that good for stability.

I've really put like zero money into the truck. That's why I bought a Savage. I've had maxx trucks that took hundreds invested just to get them ready for anything.

My kids have bowling leagues tomorrow and then I'll spend the rest of the day getting ready for Sunday.

Oh, well I just figured out that I cant go to the friggin Mad Dash, but I still can go to the race on sunday.

I'll also scope out a table, we may have a bit bigger one.

You mean the thing that made the nice round airholes on my rs4?

All I did for that was trace a rim with sharpie onto the windshield and cut it out with body scissors. If you want though, I can bring a spare rim and body scissors.

I'll check in a little bit to see if the table will fit. I'll let you know.

Thankfully today I got some alu. clutch shoes for the savvy, I'll get to see how they work tommrow! =)

Oh, I thought you bore that hole, can't remember now. Let me know on the table. You'll like the aluminum shoes, in my case it was my only way of running the truck without melting the SG.

Ok, we're taking the F150 tommrow, so I'm all good for the table. It'll take up the front of the tent, and we can keep our stuff up there so we'll look like pros.

Are your wife and kids coming tommrow too?

My wife definitely not. 8 hours is just too long for them to be sitting out there.

Personally I'm gonna take a pass, it's a $100 day when we race Tinley and the streets and sidewalks over here are wet so I'm guessing more rain is due before the end of the race today.

Ok, unofficially we took home the 2nd and 3rd place b-mains! Officially, we took home overall first and second in off-road bashing





I had a good time despite the fact that I was soaked, everything got wet, and my cars spent the entire time in the back seat of the 1:1 car.

I wish I'd of had some video of the jumps I did or just the Savage going through some of the deep puddles we ploughed through.

Nope, that's it for Tinley. Walt had a final raffle and got rid of all the prizes. My son wanted a banner for some reason so I got an Airtronics banner for him lol
