Revo spare parts cost list ebay.
#1
I'd like to put together a thread of all the common parts that one should have in their pit box for their revo. This thread is intended to help those looking to shop on ebay for new parts with good prices who don't know what should be paying for stuff that is a part pulled off a new truck.

Please, let's keep this one on topic. It could be a great help for those just getting into the hobby or those looking for good deal and don't have to have parts come new in plastic.

OK, I'll start.

What's a good price to pay for this stuff?

All 4 wheel driveshafts comelete and ready to go.
A fully assembled diff.
Full set of arms.
Fully assembled tranny.

Thanks.

Get the DuBro extra long HD servo horns. They don't strip out and, most importantly, increase the steering lock to lock!!

fully assembled tranny on e-bay $48

And maybe knowing what the LHS price for these parts is, too. Then you can decide if waiting for UPS is worth it, or getting in the car is better deal. I always factor in the 10% off at HobbyTown before I bid on eBay and add for freight.

most commen broken parts or good to have spares are

2 complete diffs
fully assembled transmission
complete set of arms
If your not running aluminun servo horns then spares of those
bearings of all sizes for your truck
shims
couple drive shafts
axle carrier

thats about it really. Everything else should just be checked regularly for maitence because its doubtfull to ever break unless you just dont check over your stuff after big races.

if you have the means, a backup motor would be optimal.

Yeah, I'm with John. Can't wait for it to come out. The integy one is prolly crap, anyone tried it? I'm on my second spur now and finally figured out that if your engine moves a little it'll trash the spur easily.

Oh well, That's what selling stuff is for, right? I just sold $65 in stuff last night and only get to keep $15 of it....Dam cell phone charges...Shutup John (stop laughing) you know what I'm talking about... :bustingup

Michowski, how much you want for your magic motor mount? :bustingup ???

Destroy, what do you mean "waiting for the 3racing motor mount to be available? I've been running mine for months!

P.s. Of course Ryan hasn't broken a motor mount, he's running a stock TM and shit pipe! LOL!!!

sry bruce gotta disagree. THS is definatly a very good race pipe. And if its just a shit pipe and a tm how come it took you from the IL state race in december to finally beat me this sunday? Doesnt say much about your stuff or that hot tnt motor if you ask me. And i know we've raced at least a dozen times between leisure before they closed and some other tracks during early summer. Just one of lifes mysteries i guess. And the only reason you beat me is because i broke and was limping around the track.
