Joe (Hagasan)
Congrats on the Kyosho America ticket....
Its about time, this year you have helped myself and my Dent Tek buddies out, and I always felt I could come up to your pit and ask you a question or help.
Now you got to start sharing some set ups... LOL
Glad to see the midwest getting some respect...

Sponsored or not I will help out anyone that needs it, anyone. Thanks alot guys.
My 8 month stint with the TTR team was a learning experience in time and patience, testing and giving feedback is a hit and miss situation that teaches one to accept whatever happens happens for a reason, things break, need to changed, and testing is exactly what it is, testing. You guys must understand that being sponsored is not just about performing on the track, off the track is just as important and human relations is a big part of representing a team. I am by no means a fast guy and I know where I stand within the RC realm of competition, I have accepted that I will never be as fast as my buddy Sonny O or My other buddy Mikey Czech (which is also a sponsored driver for TTR that has graced these pages of this fine forum), reality keeps your mind from wanting to push to the piont of failing and therefor makes you succeed in becoming a better driver. Better doesnt mean faster, but more consistant, and consistency pays off. Keep it clean and on the track and move over for the fast guys, this gives you good feedback and respect from others. This respect can help you in the long run, trust me. It also pays to be a good writer. :joy:
Anyway, hope these tips help you guys in getting a sponsor one day. Respect is key.
Thanks guys. alute:

Well said Joe, and that is what I meant by you always lending a hand to help out. When I have been at races with you, like I said before you make yourself available to help and give advice where needed.
Kyosho and all your other sponsors should be proud you represent their product.

I remember piting you once, forget? :p: Thanks guys.
"Anyone can get a 50% sponsorship, all you have to do is ask." I know why you erased it so fast, because you dont know WTF your talking about again. What a way to start out making friends on the SGrid, there goes your Rep some more. Nice going. :wavey:

so with 50% sponsorship do they give you product at cost or something? I know in the import car parts world that's what they did for partial sponsorships.

awesome joe! congrats.
joe is a awesome guy... my first trip to LH... he was the first person i ever met, and he started the conversation. didnt expect that from a thug...last time at maxs, he went out of his way to make sure i had a space under his tent. what a pal.
hes a fine rep for the K team as well as sonny and tonyD.
goes to show you dont have to be the fastest guy in ill to get a deal. strong showings and a good attitude go a long way. next time i see joe, im gonna get a autograph!

A 50% deal is I pay half of what retail cost is. Half of what you would pay.
I may wait for the pro version of the truggy to come out first, the RTR version will be out by december and it will need a little tweeking to get it up to racing spec, just like the LSP.
Slim, thanks man. You can pit with me anytime Mr. Bigtime Pimp!!
