Mine seem to flex a little also...not enough to be concerned about, as long as your getting to full open.

Mine flexed on the stock setup and on the teckno mount. Now that I have the .21 on there and a nice radio with endpoints... no flexing.

Who has the scoop on Sanwa servos? Are they identical to Airtronics?
02-17-2006, 12:15 PM
Would you know if there are any "grey market" warranty problems if I bought one?
02-17-2006, 12:21 PM
Thanks, I'll ask around. I know you have said that you have been 100% happy with your servos, so I am asking about warranty as a "just in case" thing.
02-17-2006, 12:25 PM
ya im gonna try the ace servo's and see how they are. Ive heard good things about them and the specs are identical to the airtronics but at a much lower cost
02-17-2006, 12:26 PM
Someone said Ace are made by Futaba....
02-17-2006, 12:27 PM
yup, there near identical to futaba. Hagason has been using ace servo's for a while now and he really loves his. Its worth a shot
02-25-2006, 10:31 AM
I know nobody cares about this anymore...but Revo setback arms are in stock at Stormer Hobbies online.
02-25-2006, 10:41 AM
I'm going to be using an ace servo for my revo. Same speed as the 358/359 airtronics everyone is using and only 20oz less torque. It's digital too. $35 cheaper and uses futaba sized servo horns.
02-25-2006, 10:49 AM
And it's digital, yes?
02-25-2006, 11:25 AM
yes

WoW! That is a nice looking servo and by the specs I doubt you can beat the price...
02-25-2006, 03:59 PM
I'll find out how that servo works at the track tomorrow. During a break-in session today (for the new 2.5), it turned real nice outside.
02-25-2006, 04:11 PM
tune ya went bac to the good ol' 2.5r eh? why not try the new 3.3? j/w
02-25-2006, 04:15 PM
he got the 2.5 before the 3.3 came out
Mugen MBX5T
RBS5 RB2045 Futaba 3PM Hitec 5955, 5965
02-25-2006, 04:16 PM
If I am correct he bought the 2.5 before the 3.3 came out. (Or roughly at the same time... plus Al's had the 2.5 in stock so no waiting time before racing)
02-25-2006, 04:16 PM
Well that's what happens when tex and I post at the same time...
02-25-2006, 04:18 PM
oh thats cool too. ill be waiting for the 3.3
02-25-2006, 04:22 PM
I would possibly wait to see how many gallons people are getting out of them before dropping the $$$ on one. Unless you need a motor of course...
02-25-2006, 04:24 PM
that i do need a motor
