cheap upgrades
#1
well im going to venture this weekend sometime to pickup the rear hubs that i broke a while ago and i finally got around to ordering them. but while im there are there any cheap things that i should have for my sportwerks mayhem buggy that r either good to have around or good to upgrade and r cheap upgrades. i kno im getting some fuel tubing, and the hubs, but i was wondering wut would be some other cheaper upgrades. i have a pair of crime fighters that i got in the trade and so i dont need more wheels or tires.

thanks for the help

Things to have around. I like to keep some clutch bearings, shoes, and springs(I use Mugen Stuf). I broke an axle once. I also keep a bag of assorted rod ends and control arms, but never used any of that stuff yet.
Upgrades? If you dont have a pro version, replace brass bushings with bearings. Mayhem St chassis stiffeners are nice looking and do a much beter job. I also use the stock steering servo for throttle/brake and upgrade the steering servo. That should get you going....
Oh , and in the summer I had been to Venture and they had nothing for the mayhem. Ive ordered alot of sportwerks stuff from Als and they always seem to double my order for there stock. They have a large selection now.

If you haven't been to Al's before, it's in the screwy one way street area of downtown Elmhurst north of the train tracks and parking is on the street or across at a large lot to the west. I hate going there at lunch time. There's never any parking!!! But it is the coolest toy store to browse! They got some of everything!

I agree, Al's its a great place, the only thing I can never go there and "just look" always end up with at lease $50 of stuff "I need".

I went in to look at a MT and maybe decide. Quickly left with a Revo. They always have what I need. They don't have a lot in the line of Revo hop ups yet, but if it's for a buggy they probably have it.
