I just read a post in another thread by tex that gave me this idea  . This could make for some good stories and discussion .
So...how did YOU find this board? Just curious on how much reach this site has on the internet. Was if from another forum? From a friend (who)? Google? etc.
I'll go first.
Last year around june, only 2-3 months into the hobby and somewhat of an internet guru, 2 friends (bigd and jack) said make a chicago based rc site. There is none that they know of and it has the potential to a huge hit. We went in 1/3 each and bought up a license for the board. I provided the space and the work began. Here we are almost 1 1/2 years later trucking along at full steam as chicago's biggest online rc forum.
Anyways, long story short, I found this site, well... because I created it :p. I am member #1. Curious to know what member # you are? Find any of you posts and hover the mouse pointer over your name (if you're using IE). At the bottom you'll see the link. Look at the end (u=?). The ? = your member # .

I met alot of you guys at Leisure HOurs last winter. I believe the first ones I talked to was Tex and then Rich. Tehn mich and new guy. Then alot of the other members came to the races I hosted as part of the dirt dawgs. The rest is history

Revo2k got me here, and especially since traxxas kicked me off theres cuz i said something like someone was good trader but a bad mod, he felt it was insulting a mod, but i like u guys better anyway, lol

sixvcamaro originally found this site and linked it to showmerc and thats were i came from. At first i hated this site because i just got all the bugs worked out of showme but then that board died so this became my #1 site.

I don't even know how I found this board. But I did name drop it on lots 'o' other boards from savage central to ultimate traxxas to rczone and RC tech.. hehe.

believe it or not tony turned me on to this board! when i bought the 4-tec from him he gave me 2 websites to go to! one was showme the other was chitown. i've been on the showme forever but decided to come here for all the chicago info! i love both boards.
