you could move the trans forward 1/8 inch, that will allow you to use the more forward holes in the TRX BB mount. Then a rotostart backplate will fit. OR you could move the trans forward to allow yourself to use an 1/8 scale clutch.

plus the way they have it all designed is, use a BB motor with bumpstart backplate and use a 1/10 scale crap clutch.
That's why if you move the tranny forward it allows clearance for everything.

What do you have to do to move it forward? I'm guessing extending the holes, or the whole chassis?

Drill holes 1/8th inch in front of the existing holes and some dremel work in front of the trans for added room. Definatley worth the effort to get the 1/8th scale clutch in.
You may run into other issues depending on the spacing of the mounting holes on that .26

yep you just drill new holes in the chassis in front of the other ones, Then dremel work is definitely needed to give you space to mount the trans in the new location. It's worth the hard detailed work when your all done.

How much dremel work are we talking? How much material must be removed?

About 1/4 inch I think. Almost up to the shock mount in front of the transmission. You'll want to maintain the same amount of space as you have in the stock position.
