I am looking to possibly get my 4-tec up and drifting again with its custom chassis and RWD only now. I have 2 motors, stock johnson silver can motor and a speed gems 13 turn, as well as a few batteries. (2 of my 4 fell off of the face of the earth). The problem is that both my Super Rooster and Duratrash speed controlers are fried. At this point I am looking for just about anything that is still working. If it can run the 13 turn speed gems then that is a plus. If it can't I will probably sell the gem cheap as it needs new brushes. If it is something like an EVX or super rooster that can run 2 motors this is also a plus as I may make a rock crawler in the future. For now... lets just make sure it works.
Let me know what you have and name your price...
Thanks,
Dan

I have an xl-1, but that doesn't help you. Someone is supposed to be buying it on Traxxas, but they never got back to me.

That helps me... it is an ESC isn't it? It works right? Then it fits the important criteria. Like I said I dont need to use the 13 turn. I will be drifting. What do you want for it?

Well the XL-1 can only handle down to a 15T.

I have a stock motor that I would use for drifting... I will sell the speed gem. I will never race this so I need a high turn torquey motor...

Then it should work ok, but also remember it has no brake. just reverse.

Also not really a problem... is there a reverse delay or no?? Not that it is a problem. There is no grip with drift tires so nothing will break...

Yeah 15 if you pick it up. Pretty sure there is no delay and I am not sure what you mean by speed sensitive, but it doesn't go as fast in reverse as it does forward.

Ya know I hate to do this to you but I am going to need to hold off. I broke a bit tonight so considering that and the fact that christmas is comeing up... I really cant do the extra $15 right now. I know it doesn't seem like much but the 4-tec is just not a priority...

Thanks man. When I have a few spare bucks laying around I will hit you up to see if you still have it. Thanks again. I just really didn't plan on breaking the revo the other night. Turns out plastic get very brittle when the temp guage says 5 degrees out...

I am sure that I will still have it.
You might have to change "Revos don't break" to "Revos don't break in warm weather". lol
