Bump Start...
#1
I am looking at putting a bump start OS .18 tm in the Revo. I am not a big fan of starter boxes, let alone have to get a modded one or mod one myself for the revo. I was wondering what everyone else's opinions were on the revo starter boxes as well as the hand held bump starters. (not sure what they are called) I was wondering if they could start the OS as easy as an actual box. Any links to good ones?? Thanks... just need a little help. I ran anbumpstart on my old RC10GT but that was it. Since then I have been PS or EZ start. Time for change I guess...

The Rd Racing starter box is the fastest and easiest way to start your revo. Lines the truck up on the box everytime and all you do is push the ignitor on the engine and your done.

RD box is best solution. If you don't like bump boxes, just keep using the pullstart or EZ start. Or invest in a roto-start.

My.02 cents.

That RD box is $130... that's nuts. How much can you find them for used?? Anyone have a used one? Satoch?

There are only 3 options for a bumpstart Revo. Rd Racing, Ballistic Batteries, or the TC3 modified box by Native. I'll agree that lugging a starter box around is a bit of a pain but the alternatives are worse in the end.

Don't forget about the new RDLogics revo box.

I have the RDRacing box and it works good.

I have an older 1/10 duratrash box. In my metals class I will try to fab something up to work well. If it doesn't then I will worry about breaking down and getting a box...

(Satoch... since you are selling the revo will you be selling the box too??)

The Race Revo and the starter box will most probably come as a package deal. Got $775?
