9 tank old Sirio .18!!!
As you can see, it is in pristine condition, these pics don't do it justice. It was broken in using the heat cycle method used by the hardcore racers and bashers alike. This engine has had 9 tanks through it, so it is still very rich and could stand a few more slow-medium speed runs to break it in fully.
I am asking 175 shipped.
Post here or email me at [email protected]
I try to check my for sale threads as often as possible so expect fast responces please, I try to respond within 12-16 hours on most cases.

I beleive it needs a new clutchbell, motor mount, and header.
I beleive this is it

It might need more, but I do not know, and won't be held responsible if it won't fit.

That price is a little high for that motor anyway. I seen a couple go for $100 on UE. I was about to buy one but I have 2 motors already anyway

Tower has the Sirio 18 new in stock for $199.00. The Sirio 18 has been discontinued in favor of the Sirio 23 which is also available for $260.00 for the Revo. If want to sell this your going to have to drop your price under $125.00 in my opinion.
My $.02.

IDk, it could be becuase it was broken in pretty rich, but to be honest, I don't know.
I was told he did an 8 tank heat cycle method, and I did the 9th.
Quote:The way I break in my engine and the Sirio was 1/2
tank idle. Then shut down to let cool. Then start up
again and driving it at 1/4 throttle while varying the
rpm. Then I shut the engine down and let it cool. The
second tank, I also did 1/4 throttle while varying the
rpm. I did this 1/4 throttle for 2 more tanks with
cool downs after each tank. Then 5th tank 1/2 throttle
while varying the rpm. Did this for 2 more tanks. Now
onto the 8th tank, is full throttle but still at rich
setting and varying the rpm. Did this for 2 tanks.
Then that's it. I haven't had the chance to lean it
out. I would recommend you do at least 2 more tanks
from where I left it. Although you could lean it out
when you get it.

Yep... it is definitely scuffed up a bit on that side. And you are not the first owner?? The header itself looks like it has a LOT more than 8 tanks on it. If that was only run on this motor I think something is shady...

This is the engine mount for .23 and not .18. And yes there is definately scratched (I can see it with one eye close). The header it is normal for a used Sirio .18 engine. Your asking price is too high, if you really want to sell it you might need to reconsider.
What is the best price? Check ebay... They normally not more than $130.

I sold a Sirio .18 with brand new piston/sleeve/rod for $100, basically a brand new motor for $100.
We are not trying to break you down or make fun of you. We are trying to help you so you sell the motor faster.
One plus you do have that would bump the price up is the pullstart, motor mount, CB, clutch, flywheel. That's like $45 by itself. So if you take $45 off $175 you have $130.
I would try to fetch $140 for that and settle on $120 IMO, but it's your motor so do what you please.
Oh and the header looks normal for about 10 tanks of fuel depending on fuel spillage, header leaks, etc...

And to add what Tex said, not being mean, just constructive, don't use words like 'pristine' unless it's "as new" condition. It's misleading. And your listing words it as if you are the original owner and you did the break-in. Keep it honest and real. It's used. Be accurate with it and you'll find a happy buyer willing to pay a fair price. In the end everyone feels good about it with no hassles.
