get one hooked up with KHZ parts...You'll want the chassis braces and stuff from them anyway so might as well buy one already loaded, people are switching to the jammin' CRT

you should look at a new pro-r. I have seen them for $425 on ebay. they have most of the hop-up parts on them. not King Headz but they look good.

I dont see any custom center braces on that truck, there are no optional shock towers. Not sure what a reinforced ackerman arm is, I am assuming to stockones on top of each other. Also note you will need to continue to buy those shock shafts since they are 3.5mm. The stock ones are 3.5 but taper down to 3.0 at the shock end.

Before I bash this truck, let me ask you a few questions?
1) what is your budget
2) do you need an engine/pipe and electronics
3) are you a hop up guy/or a stock guy
4) IS this strictly for racing?
5) any other mt's you own

Ok,

Here are my suggestions:

I would get the pro r version ( it has the new 7075 chassi and carbon fiber hop ups already and better tires) around $400

Then I would get the King headz ackerman arm, rear toe plates, radio tray posts for starters, approx $60-75

You are getting a new radio for xmas correct? If so all you need is a receiver (dsm or fm what ever your getting) approx $60

All your revo will will fit on it if you are using 14mm hexes still.

I woudl also buy a tonys screw kit $40

Now you can choose your engine and pipe combo, that all depends on budget and what you want and if you want pull start or bump box

This way everything is new and you know how it has been used or abused.
